Ju Studios Selected as an Innovation Representative at Colombia 4.0

Participating in Colombia 4.0 was an unforgettable experience for us at Ju Studios. This event, recognized as the most important Digital Ecosystems Meeting in Latin America, provided us the opportunity to showcase our innovations and be part of a celebration of technology and the digital future.

Over two days, more than 25,000 people gathered in person, virtually, and through the digital platforms of the Ministry of ICT to explore the trends and advancements transforming the world. In this vibrant setting, Ju Studios stood out with its developments in our three key areas:

• Ju Apps: We showcased applications designed to transform the way we interact with the world. One of our most notable projects was our tourism app, created to enhance discovery and support local economies in Colombia.
• Ju Kids: We presented educational and creative digital content for children, designed to inspire and teach the new generations while keeping them entertained.
• Rook Ju Games: We introduced our latest hyper-casual game, Juzzle Puzzlean experience that combines minimalist design and strategy, offering unique challenges inspired by Conway’s "Game of Life" and chess.

We are proud to have been selected as representatives of innovation at this prestigious event, reaffirming our commitment to creating high-quality digital content that inspires, educates, and entertains. Colombia 4.0 was not only a platform to showcase our work but also a space to connect with others passionate about technology and creativity, driving the digital future of our region forward together.

Ju Studios at BETA FEST SOFA 2024: Showcasing Juzzle Puzzle

From October 10th to 14th, we had the honor of being selected to participate in BETA FEST, the dedicated space for Colombia's video game industry within the Salón del Ocio y la Fantasía (SOFA 2024)Organized by Tan Grande y Jugando with the support of UNITY, the event brought together 25 of the country’s most outstanding independent studios. We are proud to have been part of this amazing experience with our latest project: Juzzle Puzzle.

Juzzle Puzzle: Strategy Meets Minimalist Design

Juzzle Puzzle is our latest creation—a puzzle game that blends minimalist design with strategic depth. Inspired by Conway’s Game of Life and chess, we crafted an experience that challenges players to think carefully about every move.

With soft colors and rounded edges, we aimed to create a calm yet mentally stimulating experience. The intuitive controls allow players to slide blocks in any direction with a simple swipe, ensuring smooth and tactile gameplay. Key features include:

• Unlockable hints: Use points to overcome tougher challenges.
• Daily challenges: Compete with others in unique puzzles every day.
• Level design: Create your own puzzles and share your creativity.

Juzzle Puzzle embodies our vision of combining simplicity and complexity to deliver a game that’s both accessible and challenging for players of all ages.

Our SOFA 2024 Experience

Over the five days of the event, more than 10,000 people tested Juzzle PuzzleIt was incredible to see the audience’s reactions and to receive such positive feedback from attendees and industry professionals alike. Many praised its elegant design and innovative mechanics, which reinforces our passion for creating memorable gaming experiences.

This event was not only an opportunity to showcase our work but also to connect with other developers, explore future collaborations, and strengthen our presence as an independent studio on the rise.

From October 12th to 16th, Pavilion 21 at Corferias will become the epicenter of digital innovation and fun with the arrival of the exciting Beta Fest. This event, which you won't want to miss, is an integral part of SOFA 2023, the country's leading geek culture event, and promises to be bigger and better than ever, with surprises for all video game enthusiasts.

SOFA is the largest geek fair in Colombia, attracting over 227,000 visitors in the 2022 edition. For five days, physical and virtual experiences will be offered.

But that's not all. As Ju Studios, we are excited to announce our presence at SOFA 2023 with our game 'Death Jetpack.' We invite you to join us to experience the excitement of our game and discover more about what we have in store!

And that's not the end. In this edition, visitors will have the opportunity to dive into over 20 independent projects, each with its own dose of excitement and creativity:
